To select a floor definition and make it the active floor

  1. Open a project model file and select the Floor Selector tool. The Floor Selector window opens, docked at the bottom edge of the application window. The floor list of buildings and floors within each building is in collapsed state by default.
  2. Click in the Set Active Floor in Floor Selector window to expand the Floor Selector list.
Note: Floors and floor reference planes, created in Floor Manager, display in Floor Selector list.
  3. In the Floor Selector dialog, select a floor or floor reference plane and double click to make the floor active.
  4. Click in the view to collapse the floor list. The active building and floor name and the floor elevation display in the Floor Selector toolbar.
When a floor or reference plane is activated, the following locks are turned on while the sticky Z lock is left unchanged:
    • ACS Plane Lock
    • ACS Plane Snap Lock
    • AccuDraw Z Lock

These three locks are turned off when there are no active floors or reference planes.
